PHILOSOPHY IN TUMPENG'S LIFE
Tumpeng is a very famous food in Indonesia. Usually, this dish is available at thanksgiving and parties. Tumpeng is a favorite as a meal at parties because it has become a culture that is inherent in the community, especially the Javanese people. However, it turns out that tumpeng has a deep philosophical meaning not only as a traditional food.
For example in terms of shape. Tumpeng is served with a conical shape because the Javanese people symbolize the mountain as a place close to heaven and heaven. The point is to put God in the highest position that controls nature and humans. Everything that comes from God and will return to God. The form of mounting rice cone is also believed to contain hope that our lives will rise and gain high welfare. (Ciptaningrum, 2016)

Brambang: humans are expected before doing something they should think first about good and bad. Red chili: the color is red as a symbol of fire that gives illumination or a role model for others. Gereh: These fish usually live in groups, symbolizing humans cannot live alone or individually.
