Xiaomi officially brought their dual camera back to Indonesia, the Mi A1 on September 20. The first Android phone from Xiaomi is swinging into the country by relying on a dual rear camera system that has telephoto features.

1. Blurred background, aka bokeh mode


To make the background of the photo object blurry with the Mi A1 it's easy. When entering the camera screen, you see at the top there is an icon that resembles a person, now press that icon and you enter into Portrait mode.

For maximum results, make sure that the distance of your photo object is about 2 to 2.5 meters. Adjust the focus of the object by pressing on the screen for the desired part to focus.

2. Zoom using the volume button


We usually zoom the image when shooting by pulling or pinching the screen, but the Mi A1 has a feature that makes it easy for you to do it. In the Options alias settings section, you can change the function of the volume button that was used to take photos so that you zoom.

Through the volume buttons, you can adjust the zoom more comfortably and easily, without the need to pull or pinch the screen as usual. Through this zoom method you can do up to 10 times zoom.

3. Straighten mode


Sometimes when taking a picture in motion, it is difficult to determine whether the image we have taken is straight or not. Mi A1 has a feature that makes it easy for users to do this, namely with the Straighten mode in the Camera Options.

With this mode, the camera screen will display a box that becomes a benchmark for taking pictures straight. Easy isn't it?

4. Take black and white photos


Without the need for certain modes, you can take black and white photos naturally with Mi A1. How to? You enter Options mode, then select the gear icon on the top right.

Here, look for 'Contrast' and 'Saturation', then you change them to the lowest, 'Lowest'. When taking a picture, the camera's automatic screen display is black and white.

Relax, if you feel bothered to do this, you can use a photo filter that already provides Black & White filters.

5. Adjust Contrast and Saturation


To provide good sharpness and coloring when taking photos, the Mi A1 also allows users to adjust the level of Contrast and Saturation as desired. The setting level starts from the lowest to the highest.

You can set both according to your wishes and needs, whether you need low or high settings. All depends on the situation and conditions of taking photos.
