Cultural and Community Relations

There is a reciprocal relationship between culture and society, where there is a connection between culture, civilization and history. Society produces culture, while culture determines the style of society. So between humans and culture is a unity that has a very close relationship. It is impossible for the two to be separated.

There are people (in a broad sense, society), so there is culture, there will be no culture if there are no supporters, namely humans. However, human life is not long, because all will surely die. So to maintain or preserve culture, the supporters must be continuity from one descendant to another. For example, the language of 'ngapak' which is a cultural result of the people in the Kebumen, Banyumas, Tegal, Purbalingga and surrounding areas, would certainly be a distinctive feature or feature for people who master the language 'ngapak'

Stars can also continue or regenerate their intelligence to their children, but what is passed on is only those that are merely instinctive or based on nature. It's different with humans. Unless things are inherently inherited, humans can also regenerate intelligence, experience, and the entire culture to their children and grandchildren. But to be able to have a culture from the previous generation, they must learn. The gift and mercy that is bestowed upon humans to teach, get lessons, and learn is what enables the culture to continue for generations.

The continuation of culture by the next generation is not only through a line perpendicular to the bottom, but also through a horizontal line, that is to other people around it, because humans are part of "zoon politicon" which means animals in groups. Indeed, human beings cannot live alone, they form groups with other people, whose characteristics are very different from those of animals, which is located in reason, or ways of thinking. The grouping of people who are deliberately formed is accompanied by certain rules regarding member relationships with one another, for example the division of labor, rules, order, and so on. The smallest alliance between men and women is a brief meaning of a family which then forms an alliance on a larger or wider scale called the community.

Ways to perpetuate or preserve such a wide range of cultures are possible because humans are given gifts by God in terms of intelligence. Language is the most basic intermediary for humans. With the existence of language, humans do not have to experience things themselves to be able to know and understand them. It is enough that he learns to listen to words wrapped in someone else's language. Coupled with their own experiences, the more knowledge that belongs to man is more extensive. But, keep in mind, that human ability is limited which causes it cannot support all the intelligence that belongs to it.

Deficiency in humans individually is accommodated by the community. This may be because the members of the community are certainly not of the same interests, different interests, different abilities, even though they still remain in a shared environment. So actually, supporters of culture are not human beings individually (individuals) but the whole community.
